I usually see Blonde Ales, and the difference definately shows on the palate. Creamy, high abv, and smooth as a blonde can be. Very good beer, would recommend if you are looking to try.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 23, 2009 Appearance: Pours out a translucent, bright orange-gold body with a slender, white head.
Smell: Sweet-scented nose of a thin layer of simple syrup and apple juice poured over some grainy pilsner maltiness and dosed with a drop or two of alcohol.
Taste: Sweetish, grainy combination of pale and pils malt with an iota of DMS gleaned from the latter. Small sip of golden syrup for added sweetness. Lightly spicy, lightly bitter Noble hop character. Touch of yellow apple fruitiness. Touch of alcohol warmth on the sweet finish with a lasting taste of pilsner malts.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-low carbonation. A bit smooth but also a bit sticky, too.
Drinkability: It’s sweet, it’s smooth and an overall okay blonde bock. djd07 (751), Houston, Texas, USA

Pours a orange copper with a small frothy white head that diminishes quickly to nothing. The aroma is a fruity malt with clove and citrus. Medium mouthfeel with a dry malt with caramel and mollasses. Easy to drink a good bock from GB. AR (437), Georgia, USA

There was a mild aroma and a clear amber appearance. The flavor is carbonated sticky orange candy with a bit of molasses. stephenj007 (35), Houston, Texas, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 27, 2009 Bottle pour is slightly hazy, amber yellow, with a nice foam head that left quickly. Not much noticable aroma, other than some malts, light caramel, maybe a little pine. Light, fizzy carbonation. Taste was at first kinda sweet caramel, with a hops bite to it, but the finish was just a bit sour/off with a slick feel to it. More carbonation and a little bit more malt would be nice. An ok brew, but not something I will get again. mar (1936), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Nov 22, 2009 Aroma reminds me of the smell of batter. Appearance slightly darker than what Id consider "golden" with a red tinge. Body is surprisingly full and creamy. The alcohol does not come out right away but you definitely notice it towards the back end. Good stuff. jeffc666 (1895), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 7, 2009 Clear golden dense white head that quickly dissipates. Light floral hops with a grainy-doughy malt aroma. The flavor is sweet, lightly caramel and grainy. Medium level of hops balances the sweetness. Enjoyable and forgettable.
