12oz bottle. Pours a bright, deep honey-golden color; effervescent; thin white head with good retention and fine-bubbled lacing; attractive, bright pour. Very light, clean aroma: basic sugar, honey; not much here. Medium mouthfeel: lively carbonation; again, basic sugar, cereal malts, and a touch of honey upfront; very light hop character (nondescript bitterness); this isn’t so very distinguishable from a solid premium lager; simple, moderately crisp and bitter. The finish is the nicest part of this: lots of toastiness, bread, and a solid mineral bitterness; pleasant ending.

Pours a golden color with a smaller off white colored head. Notes of pears, earthy/catty hops, and dawn dish soap which is not necessarily a bad thing. Medium weight, medium finish. Easy quaffer.

Bottle dated 9/18/09 - Clear apple juice body with a nice white head and nice lacing. Grainy, in a good way. Grassy continental hops. Lightly sweet with a nice balance of grain and hops. Crisp refreshing palate. Pretty decent stuff.
