Tap: This poured a bright golden body with lazy bubbling and a substantial white head that semed to paste the lacing to the sides of the glass. The aroma is honeyed bread with a firm grassy bitterness. Both sweet and bitter are well balanced in the flavor, the grassy bitterness lasting into the finish along with a light touch of lemon. Sessionable, especially with a cute mixologist tending to your needs.

Pours pale yellow and has good residual lacing that hangs the whole drink long. Aroma of malts and brisk hops. Medium nectar w/ ample residual effers. Good balance w/ a good hop profile. Finish is bittered perfectly w/ citrus rind. A good session brew.

Tap at Virginia Beach location. Not suprisingly, this was pretty much like practically every other pilsners I’ve had. Crisp, grassy, and watery with a somewhat unpleasant finish. However, I thought this one was a better example of the style.

Here’s my qualifications: been to this chain in Tempe AZ--lots of times. I’ve tried all their beers, many times. It’s a lucky day when an in-house brewer even has a lager, since crappy ales are all the rage the last few yrs....All GB beers have a real stiff taste. None of their beers are gulpable or something you want to buy at a store. Too expensive. With the Czech lager, you get a medium body, some hops, plenty of corn, and whatever chain-brewer chemicals you can recognize from 33 cent macros. GB is one of the most overrated beermakers, this lager starts nice and moist, tasty, then disintegrates on the tongue. Finish varies, but often unpleasant. On the bright side their food is better than their beer--

This is a great beer as far as pilsners go. Lots of spice in the aroma and flavor. Very dry and crisp. Very nice body massages my tongue. Perfect for a hot afternoon. Well done.

Draft. Golden color and staying power to the white head. Light aromas of some hops and meadowey yeast. Pretty solid flavors typical of a real lager. Round and smooth with a nice weight and feel.

On Tap in Glendale AZ before the Fiesta Bowl 2007. Pours out a gold topped with a white head. Pretty good thats about it.

as all the other gordon biers this smells great!..and looks good too...good head and lacing....does have a very strange aftertaste...an OK beer but falls short...
