Milky looking rich chestnut body with a thick head. Banana and marshmallow aroma. Sort of tart, with some banana and hints of chocolate. Kind of funky/sour note is a little weird, but otherwise a std example.

Hazy dark amber color. Clean aroma of ripe banana. Sweet taste, mix of their Hefeweizen and Dunkel (caramel and banana) and this one as well is not much hopped.

Apr 17, 2009 Bottle from Squires. Pours hazy brown with nose of banana, dark malt, clove, spice. Tastes malty, with banana, clove, spicy brown sugary, and caramel flavors. Solid balance and complexity but waters out a bit late.

Jun 28, 2008 12 oz. bottle from BevMo. Hazy dark amber color with an emphemeral beige/tan head. Dark wheaty/malty aroma with a touch of spice and citrus. And banana. Body is medium with fizzy carbonation. Flavor is banana, clove and some darkish malt. Finish is more sweet than bitter. Pretty decent beer.

Feb 20, 2009 Enjoyed on-tap at the Miami brewpub. A hefeweizen with lots more chocolate malt, nothing wrong with that. An above average mouthfeel with bananna consistency and taste. A good dunkel, good looking with lots of lace. Milkshake, though taste is on the sweet side and no complexity.

Sep 28, 2008 Bottle. Sweet banana, orange, clove, and caramel malt aroma. Cloudy orange-brown color with moderate head. Sweet banana-orange, clove and light caramel wheat malt flavor. Very nice - above average dunkelweizen.

May 5, 2008 Bottle. Hazy caramel beer with a nice light tan head. Banana, clove, caramel, and spice aroma. Wheat, caramel, banana, clove flavor. Medium-light body. Refreshing. Light citrus, caramel, yeast and wheat lingering.

Jun 4, 2009 On tap at LAX. Pours with a tan off white head over a muddy hazel. Aroma of toffee nuts and fruity esters. Taste is caramel, dark fruits, green raisins, candied apple, and banana. Watery mouthfeel, creamy carb.
