On tap at Reagan International Airport in D.C....Clear amber color....Lasting head...Bready aroma...Smooth and easy drinking...Malty finish....About like their regular Marzen...A bit maltier and fuller tasting...

Location: We have a bunch of these in the metro DC area, I think I’ve prob been to 3 of them, including the one in "Downtown Rockville" that I visit pretty often, I’ve had this one on tap there, specifically enjoyed quite a few these that first fall when the Rockville one opened...

Overall Impression: I think is probably the best thing I’ve had from GB, it’s a really sold example of the style (where as most of their beers are average or sub par for their respective styles). It’s a nice enjoyable beer for the Oktoberfest season.

From a six pack on sale at Bevmo for $6.99 this 12 oz bottle poured a cloudy orange with dingy head and light lacing. Nose of caramel malts and very light floral and citrus hops. Mouthfeel medium Flavor is mostly malts. Quite drinkable.

Bottle. Fest bier, really? Not quite. Not bad, just not really on par with other more traditional fest beers. Very thin profile of malt and caramel where I would expect more.

This orange beer poured with a decent foamy off-white head. There is a decent caramel malt flavor with some hop bitterness at the finish. Drinkable but not remarkable. 12

Bottle from Total Wine in Roseville. Orangey color with a decent beige head. Smells lightly spicey. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is malt with spicey hop. Not a bad beer.

Got this from Safeway on sale. Perfect malt, hop and spice balance. Highly, highly recommended. Almost as good as my favorite Stella Artois. $6.99 a six pack. 200%.

Tap. Pours a crystal clear amber with a big fluffy off white head. Malt was the predominant character in this brew with lightly spiced finish.
