Active over-carbonation, dry slightly bitter aftertaste, thin mouthfeel. Altogether not a great mix. Still better than a national brand. Clear yellow

Quite good, as most GB’s are. Not "the best" or "totally awesome", but very good. Golden color. Nice, creamy head. Good, crisp flavor. At $4.99 per 6 pack at Trader Joe’s, it’s cheaper than Bud swill at the local supermarket and MUCH better.

Surprise! Bright, clear golden with very little head. Aroma malty and very bready, almost like hay. Flavor is very light but it’s appropriate for this beer: Sweet and bready with just a touch of hops; grassy aftertaste. Extremely clean mouthfeel! This was a very pleasant surprise from Gordon Biersch, and a bargain at that.

(draft in Las Vegas) Sparkling straw body topped by white head. Aroma is medium sweet, cereal, grassy. Taste is medium sweet, cereal, light caramel, plus a mild grassy that is more noticeable in the finish. Finish also has a touch of alcohol. Light-medium body, quite drinkable.

Sampled draught at Gordon Biersch, Las Vegas
Pale yellow color with a light creamy head. The aroma is toasty and lightly hoppy, crispy even. Tastes like cinnamon and golden grahms. Tasty lager though.

Sampled draught at Gordon Biersch, Burbank.
Pale golden, creamy head. Sweet and buttery. Fruity and lightly malty. A good true-to-style dortmunder.

Not satisfying at all and is a embarssment to the Biersch’s. Very watery looking but golden applejuice color with no head what so ever. Light tasting malt with sour grass smell and taste. Next beer!

(12 oz bottle) Somewhat flavorful and lightly malty helles lager with a gentle hops that allows the bready flavor to stand out slightly. Mildly sweet and somewhat lower on carbonation. Light to medium bodied, with a lingering palate, but a fairly thin finish. Sweet, mildly malty, bready nose has minimal hops aroma. Pale golden color with little head available for retention. Nothing spectacular, but enjoyable enough and certainly drinkable, that is, until it gets warm, when it starts to resemble cardboard, so definitely drink this beer well-chilled.
