Ok bought this in a 6 pack three days ago..time to tuck in..comes in the usual BG brown 12 ozer usual boring label , this time yellow. Nice light honey coloured beer with a small but persistent pure white head. Nice strong smell of malts in this one..very "biscuity" sweet. Again the malts tend to dominate this with the hops only making a late appearance in taste. Nice and smooth on the tongue. Quite a drinkable Dortmunder..though I dunno..the taste grows on you.

A very unpleasant coloring that is lightly golden and bright. Aroma is musty, and the flavor is unbalanced and one sided, with a bit of honey sweetness, that is lightly hoppy, and slightly off kilter. Finish is slightly bitter and chalky.

Bright gold. Harsh, unpleasant finish, has a nice malty start but the quite hoppy finish has an unpleasant off-ness that makes this a non-winner. Forgettable with a tailwind, bad in still air. I had still air. It wasn't good.

Draft. Oakville. Fizzy pale yellow with no head, aroma was slightly fruity. Thin bodied “It’s sort of like Canadian” isn’t really a selling point. Slight bitterness. Not much there.

Im not a fan of the helles style but Im not sure this fits anyway. More like a lager lacking the malt profile found in this style. Golden color and refreshing but lacking anything to call it a good beer. It works when you are out in the heat.

Bottled Straw colored body with a fluffy white head. No lacing.
Very faint pilsner like aroma. Not much else.
Very corn like flavor and aftertaste. Not exactly smooth. Not that refreshing either.
Very dry finish. Strips the tongue quickly. Would be a decent palate cleanser.
