Sampler @ Bolingbrook. The beer list here says this has a 5.0% abv. Pale straw yellow, but still showing some substance in my tiny glass. For some reason, I get a whiff and taste of corn. Maybe it’s touch of diacetyl? Does, in fact, remind me of Special Export. Light, somewhat grainy, with a touch of adjunct. A also get a slight impression of inner tube.

Location: We have a bunch of these in the metro DC area, I think I’ve prob been to 3 of them, including the one in "Downtown Rockville" that I visit pretty often, I’ve had this one on tap there

Overall Impression: This is GB’s standard tap year round session offering, no description is needed, you’ve had similar beers before, and this one fits right in that group...

Tap@GBSeattle. Veggies and lemon aroma. Hazy, white/yellow colour, white head, good lace. Sweet, lime, pineapple, light bitter. Soft and sparkling. Wouldn’t call it a Helles, but more like an Golden Ale.

Pretty decent, nothing too special here. Good as a session beer. Had it in DC. Would def go with one of their darker ones next time.

Draft @ Annapolis: Poured a golden color with not much head. The aroma was grass. The flavor was grass, spice, honey, and really not much of anything. Overall, an easy drinker.

On tap-Annapolis Location-Clear golden color w/a slight white head. Sweet grassy aroma. Very light & easy to drink, grassy, bread dough, a little banana, honey sweetness, & slight floral hops. Smooth, clean, crisp, simple; good transition/intro brew for the macro drinker. Not complicated, but enjoyable. Sounds like some samples were off depending on the location; not the case here-as this location just recently opened.

Draft @ Miami location. Pours light golden color with white head. Cereal malt aroma with light hoppiness. Sweet fruity flavor with cereal grain and a touch of hops. Light body with moderate carbonation. Not too good. Flavors tasted off.
