Had this on tap at the Brewpub last night. This is a smooth golden brew with a decent head. It has a light nose with a creamy nutty mouth feel and a slightly bitter finish. Almost a crime to call this one an ’American Standard’.

Poured a blonde color with a white head from the tap in Tempe. Notes of chardonnay grapes and honey. Very crisp and refreshing.

Miami. Dark gold with very small white head. Brisk grainy nose with lemon-lime accents and hints of diacetyl. Spritzy, gingerale but not too fizzy. Sweet. Soft mouthfeel. Some nice biscuity elements and fruit but it’s too sweet.

Literally no aroma. Very pale. Flavor is pretty simple, not much to this in flavor but certainly a beer that could pass for the mass-consumption drinkers.

From tap in Pasadena. Pours clear and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Mild pilsner malt aroma. Flavour follows this closly with a light biscuit note. Ends semi dry and with a slowly building bitterness.

Quick background story - when the waiter brought out the sampler platter he introduced this one by saying "its basically like MGD or Budweiser"... hmm, not a great way to win me over, but I think he was being a little modest. This has a subtle hop bite that makes this far more interesting than mass produced corn swill that is out there. Its still not a style I’d gravitate to, but its a decent beer none the less.

Tap at the DC brewpub. The first of a long line of boring, mediocre beers. Mild, corny rice vinegar aroma, garlic and parmesan cheese. Ultra-pale. Flavor is deeply flawed, cheesy and vegetal and corny. Total junk. I made a face after my first sip of this with the waiter standing right there by mistake but I think he didn’t notice.
