On tap at the KC location. Pours a clear gold with an inch of creamy, white head that laces nicely. The aroma is of sweet and slightly sour bread dough with a lightly grassy hop backing. Light-bodied with assertive yet soft carbonation and a crisp finish. Sweet, grainy and fairly astringent at the finish. Eh. It’s decent enough as a gateway brew, but it’s not great.

Just nothing worth noting...in fact, not quite sure I’d be doing a review other than the fact it adds to my total. Just a fine-line separates this from macro-brews.

Sample at North Scottsdale location. Pours very light gold with white head. Nose is light grains and malt. Palate is mild malt with a touch of hops in the finish. Pretty boring.

A draught sample from New Orleans location. Crisp hoppy nose - bit of carbonic gaseousness and light pilsner malt. Clear golden yellow with thin white lacing head. Medium-light watery body with heavy carbonation. Starts with light pilsner sweetness, but medium carbonic acidity. Big hoppy bite with lingering bitterness that lasts throughout. Clean crisp finish.

On tap @ Tempe Location. Fizzy yellow budweiser like color with small white head. Aroma of grain, and malt and maybe some corn but not much else. Budweiser does it better and that’s not saying much. Sorry Gordon Biersch but this brew aint all that great.

Kansas City GB. Pale yellow body with a bright white head. The aroma was apple core and grass. The taste was bready with a little bit of grass. A decent malty cereal finish.
