Golden color. Nice, creamy head. Good, crisp flavor. At $4.99 per 6 pack at Trader Joe’s, it’s cheaper than Bud swill at the local supermarket and MUCH better. BeerLimey (1873), California, USA

A great summer refresher, with a good crisp slightly dry finish. ultraspank (866), Dublin, Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 3, 2002 Had this on tap at the Brewpub in the Arena district in ’Cow’lumbus last night. This is a smooth golden brew with a decent head. It has a light nose with a creamy nutty mouthfeel and a slightly bitter finish. Did I mention it was smooth? Almost a crime to call this one an ’American Standard’. ucsbdude (68), Santa Barbara, California, USA

Aroma is medium sweet, cereal, grassy. Taste is medium sweet, cereal, light caramel, plus a mild grassy that is more noticeable in the finish. Finish also has a touch of alcohol. Light-medium body, quite drinkable. beachbum25 (802), Powellville, Maryland, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 4, 2009 On tap-Annapolis Location-Clear golden color w/a slight white head. Sweet grassy aroma. Very light & easy to drink, grassy, bread dough, a little banana, honey sweetness, & slight floral hops. Smooth, clean, crisp, simple; good transition/intro brew for the macro drinker. Not complicated, but enjoyable. Sounds like some samples were off depending on the location; not the case here-as this location just recently opened.
