Holds little head; bright yellow color. Nice dry malt flavor that lingers nicely with just a hint of bite. Nice.

Quite good, as most GB’s are. Not "the best" or "totally awesome", but very good. Golden color. Nice, creamy head. Good, crisp flavor. At $4.99 per 6 pack at Trader Joe’s, it’s cheaper than Bud swill at the local supermarket and MUCH better.

The character and flavor are not particularly big, a little light and subdued, but it was certainly more than I had expected. A great summer refresher, with a good crisp slightly dry finish.

Had this on tap at the Brewpub in the Arena district in ’Cow’lumbus last night. This is a smooth golden brew with a decent head. It has a light nose with a creamy nutty mouthfeel and a slightly bitter finish. Did I mention it was smooth? Almost a crime to call this one an ’American Standard’.

Sampled draught at Gordon Biersch, Burbank.
Pale golden, creamy head. Sweet and buttery. Fruity and lightly malty. A good true-to-style dortmunder.

(draft in Las Vegas) Sparkling straw body topped by white head. Aroma is medium sweet, cereal, grassy. Taste is medium sweet, cereal, light caramel, plus a mild grassy that is more noticeable in the finish. Finish also has a touch of alcohol. Light-medium body, quite drinkable.

On tap-Annapolis Location-Clear golden color w/a slight white head. Sweet grassy aroma. Very light & easy to drink, grassy, bread dough, a little banana, honey sweetness, & slight floral hops. Smooth, clean, crisp, simple; good transition/intro brew for the macro drinker. Not complicated, but enjoyable. Sounds like some samples were off depending on the location; not the case here-as this location just recently opened.
