And is it just me, or do the majority of all hefes at american brewpubs taste the same? aracauna (2385), Georgia, USA

Very cloudy, gold color, little head...Taste is so unique. Like a liquid dessert. Bananas and cloves. This was good. Never what I would expect from a beer though... | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 8, 2006 On tap at the brewpub, pours a hazy pale orangish yellowish color with a thick creamy white head, decent retention. Very fragrant aroma of bananas, also some yeast/bread and bubblegum. Very good taste and very refreshing, especially when it’s cold. Full flavored of bananas and bubblegum. Creamy and smooth on the palate. As it warms, it actually loses a bit of flavor, so drink it when it’s cold. I think this is one of the best hefes I’ve had. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 21, 2006 Big clove and banana tastes. Don’t put a lemon in this one you fools, you don’t need it. Pair this one with some goat cheese and you are ready to go.
