Pours hazy golden with a creamy, fluffy, almost meringue-y white head. Big lemony wheat nose, almost sugary and dairy-like. The body is sturdy for a hef; this is the best beer at this location, the one closest to being complete and having some kind of identity. For GB, it’s not bad. There’s more of the lemon and wheat on the palate, almost a tartness. The meringue quality carries through the whole of the palate; this is almost a sugary beer. If it were less sweet, it’d be borderline sessionable in a pinch. chriso (4796), London, Greater London, England

Lots of banana in the aroma but there’s something a bit "dirty", almost clammy in the background. The palate is much more citric and spicy. Perfectly decent, but no world beater.

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 19, 2006 On Tap at the Las Vegas location. Hazy gold in colour. Banana aromas with a bit of mild vanilla and some sort of fruity cleaning product. Very estery banana flavors, with notes of berry and some sweeter wheaty malt. Unclean, almost cloying, finish. I’m nomally one who enjoys a good or even a mediocre hefeweizen, but this beer was neither of those things. I made one of my own that fermented too hot, and it tasted a bit like this. Perhaps that’s part of the problem? shrubber85 (2910), Wallhalben, Germany
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 10, 2006 Tap. Bubblegum and peach aroma. Cloudy amber color with moderate head. Sweet bubblegum and peach flavor - didn’t really get that much malt flavor. An okay Weizen but a bit too sweet and not enough malt for me.
