Body is yellowish-gold with a very thin white head. Smell is watery wheat.Taste iss of banaids and hydrogen peroxide, drying and offering no clove spice. Aftertaste has slight amount of citrus, but it tastes synthetic. Sampled at Gordon Biersch in Tysons Corner, VA. TheGrandMaster (1868), Auckland, New Zealand

A string citrus aroma. Reasonably smooth with a nice sweet bitterness left in the mouth. Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark

Dark golden cloudy colour with a nice creamy head. Nice aroma of banana and yeast. Good taste of fruit and wheat. My first beer in USA and I am impressed, thought that amarican couldn’t make wheat beers, but they can and served in a real wheatbeer glass. Tmoney99 (4773), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Hazy amber hue with moderate off-white head that diminished slowly with good lacing. Moderate sweet wheat aroma. Light to medium body. Medium wheat flavor with a well balanced medium finish. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 8, 2005 From a sampler at the Gordon Biersch DC location on September 4th, 2005. Clouded gold. Lots of banana and bubblegum. Sweeter than expected and not a lot of citrus. Taste is wheaty and yeasty with some lighter tart notes coming through. Mild candyish notes as well. Again, lots of banana in the taste as well. Body is medium and has a minimal carbonation feel. Finishes with wheat, bubblegum and banana and light hints of spice. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 6, 2005 Decent aroma, mostly of banana candy. Moderately hazy, dusty yellow, some head. Reasonably frothy palate. The flavor has a sweet edge, but there is a very artificial quality to it, making it easy to drink in small quantities but too much and my mouth and stomach start to go sour. If you’re up for one round, go for this for sheer flavor. Random question, do microbreweries need to match the same ABV levels that other CO brewers do? (Beer sez, in a whisper: "I...... am a BANANAW!") Holdwine (908), Beertimore, Maryland, USA
