Tap at Virginia Beach location. Spring seasonal. Amber color, light, with a slight opaqueness to it. Aroma was that of hops, caramel, cherry, and a slight floral note to it. Flavor was nice, light, and a lot more alcohol than I figured it would have.

On tap at Gordon Biersch at Tyson’s Mall. Nice amber with a tight, medium white head. Noble hops, a hint of olives and light smoke in the nose. Flavor has notes of caramel, light cherry, grassiness, lemon, bread and again, a touch of olive. Medium bodied, smooth texture and moderate carbonation. Very drinkable. Overall, very solid. I can’t help but think Gordon Biersch would get better ratings if they weren’t a chain.

On tap in Columbus - Pours dark amber with a short tan head. Aromas of good caramel malt, toffee, and some slight bannana. Flavor is toffee, caramel, bannana, slightly sweet lingering at the finish. Medium body with lively carbonation. Sweet and malty throughout. I liked this.. Good session brew... I think this should be a spring seasonal and not a winter..

Tapl Light sweet malt aroma. Amber color with small head. Moderate malt flavor with a good astringent finish. This is much better style-wise than their Blonde Bock and the best of the six I tried. Nice.

Tap Las Vegas Restaurant-No head. Aroma of a little malt with a taste of malt. Not bad.

On tap @ San Diego restaurant: Poured a burnt gold color in a stubby neat looking glass stamped with a Maibock logo. I love how Gordon Biersch serves every glass with a perfect whip cream topping of head except the hefeweizen. Aroma is weak and has light scents of grain malt. Flavor is mild with malts and grain again and a smooth crisp finish. Good enough for a repeat another day.

Tap. Mildly nice surprise. Nice body, fruity finish. Better carbonation than other GB beers I have had that were a bit flat to me.

On tap @ Gordon Beirsch Mission Valley. Poured a medium-dark amber color with a medium bodied head. Nose of hops , malts and some citrus as well. Mouthfeel was nice, smooth and easy to put down. A pretty damn good beer.
