Well balanced, medium hops and mouthfeel, long somewhat bitter aftertaste. Not as sweet as most marzens or oktoberfests. Not bad, worth trying.

Draft. Not an attention getter. But nothing offensive either. Just kind of standard and easy to drink. Clear, amber pour with a short, white head. The aroma is mostly malty with a slightly sweet nose. Notes of caramel and bread. Hint of butterscotch. The flavor is lightly sweet with a lightly bitter finish. Medium body and watery texture. Lively carbonation.

On Tap at the Columbus Microbrew Festival. This stuff looked nice, but wasn;t that sweet. Pretty simple and flavorless.

(Draught) Sampled at the Great Canadian Beer Festival 2008 in Victoria, September 2008. Thin, white head with a light orange body. Fresh bread with a strong malt base. Fairly average. 6/3/6/2/12

Much better than I remember. Tap at Tempe locale. Nice reddish brown color with very fluffy white head. Opens with notes of raspberry, wheat and Saaz hops; finishes smoothly but right before the end is a faint-but-weird note of wet dog. Mildly disturbing but goes away after a few sips.

Bottle. Pour is a copper color with a touch of a head that dies quickly. Aromas of dusty grain and malt are about all I’m picking up. Flavor is a mix of malt and grain dust with a thread of apple juice sweetness and a watery finish with a hint of spice.
