Much like Sam Adams, but with less bitterness and more malt. My staple for a Diamondbacks game. rayOfBeer (319), El Cerrito, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 10, 2008 Poured from bottle an orange color with small white head. Aroma was soft with mostly malt and typical slightly skunky lager smell. Flavor is bready with light caramel and very mild sweetness. Overall this was an ok beer easy to drink but not all that flavorful. TapMaster (16), , California, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 27, 2008 Sampled on tap at the brewery. The beer had a cloudy amber-orange color with a medium-sized white head with moderate retention. The aroma was malt-dominated, with caramel highlights, and some lighter yeasty and citrus tones. Flavor was mildly sweet with a slight bitterness, and was mostly malty. It was a slightly wet beer with a drier finish, average carbonation, and a medium body. The beer was ok, but nothing too be remembered. can8ianben (911), Pasadena, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 27, 2008 Just not my style. Red in color, mostly a sweet malt beer, very little hop presence going on here. I want it to be a rich hoppy red beer but that’s just not what the style suggests. GB does it alright, but its not one that I’d ask for again. BMan1113VR (2942), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA

Pours a clear amber body with a small, off-white head with a bit of lacing. Malty aroma. Taste is clean and malty and a touch metalicy. Dry and a bit fizzy. RunDWP (203), San Jose, California, USA

Pours a nice burnt orange with beige head that slowly dissolved. Light, sweet and caramel malty flavor, with a little yeast and orange peel notes. Little detectable hops. Not a bad brew, but not really a note worthy one, either.
