| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 6, 2006 On tap. A thin white head tops this amber brew. Tinted by hints of orange and brown, the pour is pleasing but not spectacular. The aroma is bready, sweet and slightly malty. The flavor follows suit. Bready, malty flavor comes through along with a hint of sweet fruit. The palate is light and this beer is easy to drink. Finishes with a light bitterness. GuilTTy (538), Cherry Hill, New Jersey, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 4, 2006 On tap at GB in Pasadena. Mildly hazy copper pour under a thin tawny white head with very little lacing. Aroma of fresh baked biscuits, orange zest and yeast. Mildly sweet malt flavor with touches of apple and caramel. Pairs well with their garlic fries but not enough character in this brew to stand on its own. cbkschubert (2004), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 24, 2006 12 oz. bottle via trade with IrishBoy - I’ve had this beer several times over the years. Guess it’s time to rate it. Pours a clear orangish-amber color with an average size off white head that faded quickly. Has a strong earthy hop and light bready malt aroma. Has a light caramel malt flavor. Light to medium body. A decent year round release by GB. Worth a try. Thanks Richard. tramp55555 (44), Lisbon, Ohio, USA

No spice, no character otherwise. Dull. Original Rating: bready caramel the dominant flavour feature. Drank a 6-pack while walking the strip in Vegas. swanmann (309), Norman, Oklahoma, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Nov 8, 2006 Clear, orange-ish rust, amber with no head. Aroma of stewed fruit, maybe cherry. Flavor is smokey, lightly bitter, oak, slightly spicey. Mine was nearly flat, but it was the third taste so maybe it just can’t sit for 10 minutes. Reminded me of a flat Shinerbock.
