Flavor of apricot, raisen, and some caramel. fiulijn (7420), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 15, 2006 Draft - Tyson’s Corner, VA - Light amber, creamy off-white head. Upon warming, a nice nose of toasted caramel, raisin, and cavendish tobacco emerge. Good balanced flavors of toffee, raisin, caramel, and toast, with faint cherry tones, and a light hop bitterness rounding it out. Light bodied, soft carbonation, toasty finish. Could easily put a few of these away. Not nearly as bad as the score here woud indicate. Then again, different location = different brewer...

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 2, 2006 I quaffed this one while eating in the Eastside Club at the Oakland Coliseum with my brother. While I paid an arm and a leg for it (all beers at the game are $7.50, worth it or not), I will review it as if it were free. Appearance was dark brown, almost like a really dark tea. Aroma was malty and the flavor was malty. Medium-bodied and very smooth. Nothing overly special about this beer. It went well with the Italian Sausage I was throwing down, but I can’t really say anything extraordinary about it. chadzter (94), huntsville, Alabama, USA

Great meduim hoppy beer with a smooth taste that made for a great balance with the malt. Has a sweet caramel finish or brown sugar. Color was a rich amber brown color.
