Brown, red, and orange mixed up together to form this color of brew. Head is thin and foamy with huge bubbles making it up. Mild malt flavor with a huge caramel taste, and a malt liquor aftertatse left behind on the palate. If this is a Marzen then how come its always available anytime of the year???

Tap@Gordon Biersch, Seattle. Failry sweet and sticky marzen, toffee and grain, bready, wasn’t that bad, but it was a little unexciting.

Redish pour. Clear deep amber. Small amount of white head. Smells of caramel and spice is very heavy. Like caramel corn. Taste is bland, not very much from it. little bitter and a little caramel and spices. Not that great of a beer.

Red amber pour with a light white head and some spotty lacing. Light malts and hops in the nose. Caramel. Roast malts and some more caramel in the flavor. The hops are slightly bitter. Mellow palate and body. Bitter finish that’s a touch roasty.

Deep amber/brown with an inch head... malty and sweet. Had it on tap at the brewery, and from what i hear, it’s much better on tap than in bottled form.
