Redish pour. Clear deep amber. Small amount of white head. Smells of caramel and spice is very heavy. Like caramel corn. Taste is bland, not very much from it. little bitter and a little caramel and spices. Not that great of a beer.

Red amber pour with a light white head and some spotty lacing. Light malts and hops in the nose. Caramel. Roast malts and some more caramel in the flavor. The hops are slightly bitter. Mellow palate and body. Bitter finish that’s a touch roasty.

(Draught) Pours a deep amber-brown color with an average sized head. Descent sweet malty flavor with a syrupy palate.

Deep amber/brown with an inch head... malty and sweet. Had it on tap at the brewery, and from what i hear, it’s much better on tap than in bottled form.

Probably the most drinkable beer from these guys yet. Has many characteristics of a standard brown ale, yet is quite thin and a little syrupy (like all their beers that I have tried so far). But at the now lowered price of $3.50/pint (at the Whitby, Ontario location), it will do.

Another average brewpub beer. This is a fine beer, although I wouldn’t pay $4.95 or whatever for another one in the bar. The main components to a marzen are there although this beer isn’t spectacular.

Draft in Hawaii. Reddish brown in color with an averaged sized head. Sweet malty smelling and tastes. Not bad (or was it the secenary looking out into the ocean that made it taste better).

Another draft at LAx. Decent malty beer, but my reco is stick with the blonde bock.
