Fresh bottle. Pours a crystal clear, brazen, reddish-amber color. A thin head of off-white foam dissipates quickly, settling to just a thin rim and leaving virtually no lacing. The nose is based in moderately toasty gains and biscuit malt sweetness, with hints of prune-like fruit and mild floral hops. Flavors follow suit, the primary focus being on medium-toast cereal grain, dried generic fruit, and semi-sweet malts. Medium bodied, with balanced carbonation, the palate suffers a bit from astrongency on the finish, but is otherwise agreeable. It’s a drinkable, decent brew overall.

12 oz. Pours a burnt orange with small beige head that quickly fades. Aroma is caramel malts, sugar some toffee. Flavor is very sweet and watery. A little too thin for the style. Its ok .Maybe a weaker version of a good marzen.

Pours clear amber with an orange head. The aroma is malty with vague hints of bread and caramel. The taste is sweet and malty. Hints of hops give it a slightly bitter undertone. Not a good beer, very clumsy in the execution.

Clear, deep copper in color with a sweet, malty nose. Well-rounded flavor with hops and malts balanced nicely. Mid-bodied with a carbonated lift. Satisfying. ~~~~~~~~~ Draught, GB Bolingbrook, IL.

On tap at the James Joyce, Durham. Nice reddish/orange pour, with a decent fluffy head. Toasted malts and sweet notes in the nose. Body is moderate but the flavor is heavily generic, with a thin watery finish.

Bottle. Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Spare display of lacework. Light amber like color. Aroma of light malty notes; caramel, grain, hint of bread. Also some hoppy notes, citrus, floral. Light bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Light bitter and sweet flavor. Light bitter floral finish with a malty twist.

Draft. Cherry pine color. Light red hue. brown sugar. 2 part flavoring w/ heavy wooden ring in the back of the throat. not a great finish or beer.
