Apr 7, 2007 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear, amber golden with a white head that leaves some lacing. Sweetish, lightly caramelish aroma - actually quite close to genuine Bamberg style. The body is medium, with lightly sweet caramel notes. The hops are dry and floral. Quite decent, and a lot better than expected given Gordon Biersches reputation.... 280307

Aug 6, 2008 From tap in Pasadena. Pours clear and golden amber with a lacing white head. Roasted caramel malt and butterish aroma. Flavour is dry breadish malty with a distinct roasted caramel flavour yet also with diacetyl. Ends breadish malty towards spiced.

Golden-amber colour. Caramelly nose with some diacetyl. Way too fizzy, even with the frozen glass. More caramel and diacetyl on the palate. A tough pint to choke back, quite frankly.
