On tap at Monks in Tallahassee. Dark amber pour with a decent white head that disapears quickly. Aroma is faint, grainy caramel in nature. Flavor is good, exactly what you expext from an octoberfest. Pretty good overall.

12oz bottle-pours a big foamy offwhite head with amber color. Aroma is bready/light malt-towards caramel, continental spice hops. Taste is bready/grainy/light malt-towards caramel, musty, continental spice hops. Good carbonation.

Not bad. Pour was a medium clear red oak. Some head that went away slowly. The aroma was sweet with hints of caramel. The flavor was smooth. Well balances. But a little harsh on the after taste.

Pours a brown tan head. Light smell of malts and walnuts. Light brown in color with small carbonation bubbles. taste of sweet malts and grains. Has a sweet and lingering after taste something similar to bannanas. not a bad beer for the spring time.

In Bottle; OK beer. Was recommended at a local store. I found it quite grainy/cereal like in taste. It was easy to drink but would not buy again.

On tap at the Rockville location: Transparent bright copper pour has a thin ring of off-white bubbles. Has a lightly sweet caramely malty nose with a touch of noble hops. Starts with good body and a light caramel and toffee sweetness with some light fruity flavors and noble hop bitterness before a drier bittersweet finish. Pretty true to style.

A Spicy kick accentuates this beer. This is an easy-drinking beer with a nice blend of the hops and malt. I don’t think I could make this too much of a session beer, which a good Märzen should be.

Had this in Miami. Amber pour. Boring malty and light hops aroma. Flavor is a bit stale, with cereal grain and caramel. Meh.

Had this on tap in KC and did not care for it at all. aroma was earthy and slightly alcoholy to me. Taste was something i can’t pinpoint but i didn’t enjoy it, kind of bitter i guess. If this is their most popular beer i will not be going back for more!
