Pours gold with a dim head. Aroma is copper and hops. Flavor is par for the course as far as pilsners are concerned, but it’s a nice course nonetheless. Palate is suitable. Overall not bad; I’m just not a Pilsner fan. urbnhautebourg (974), Annapolis, Maryland, USA

Not as bad as all that, for though its malt was intensely boring, it offered a nice cutting hop bitterness and some hop flavor. Without those hops, you get something rather unremarkable--see GB’s Maibock. brianprentiss (475), Portland, Oregon, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jan 16, 2006 Aroma had a crisp bittness to it. Yellow body wih white head. The flavor had a medium crisp lemon bitterness to it at first, but mellowed out by the finish. Leaves a bitter beer aftertaste. Might be beeter if you were drinking this as your grilling out. oldrtybastrd (1823), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA
