Location: We have a bunch of these in the metro DC area, I think I’ve prob been to 3 of them, including the one in "Downtown Rockville" that I visit pretty often, I’ve had this one on tap there

Overall Impression: Very standard/average/(Insert adjective here) Pils

Tap at the San Francisco Airport location: Golden pour with good clarity adn a dense off white head that sticks around. Sweet pilsner aroma- some vegetal malt character, mild flowery saaz notes- clean. Rounded flavor with a crisp light palate. Firm malt base is reminiscent of sweet potato- evident herbal saaz/ peppery hallertau bitterness balances the pils base. ot far off from Pilsner Urquell. Solid, and a bit underrated.

It was not bad or offensive, but there was nothing that I really liked about it.Typical pilsener flavors/aromas.

Bud...weis...er. This one really didn’t impress me. Draft. Very macro lager-like. Yellow color with little head. Grain and some grassy hops on the aroma. More on the flavor, with pale malt and nothing too special or tasty. Average palate. Below average beer.

Draft @ SF location. Pours a clear yellow color with a small white head. Has a malty grainy aroma wit some grassy hoppy hints. Sweetish malty crisp grainy flavor. Has a sweetish malty grainy finish.

Some grassy and grain aromes. Pours a golden color and the white head disipated to nothing with a bit of suspended sediment and some action. A grainy taste blended with a hop flavor of weed and grass. Almost medium bodied, some resinous and a minor buttery feel, with a lively and comfortable carbonation. A decent and different Pils in the Pils changeup.

On tap at Palo Alto. Pours a translucent golden with a medium creamy white head. Aroma and flavor of noble hops, cereal and bready grains with hints of citrus. Moderate hop bitterness. A solid Pilsner.

Pours golden from bottle. Crisp aroma and good carbonation and clarity. Flavor is some grass, sweet malt (similar in other GB beers) followed by hop finish and then a dry malt tang.
