| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 6, 2009 On tap at the Rockville location: Pours a transparent dark mahogany with a clingy-lacing froth of off-white head. Aroma of lightly sweet toasty dark caramel and roasted malt and earthy hops. Starts with a creamy fullness and some semi-sweet roasty dark malt with decent German hop balance before a bittersweet finish with some lingering roastiness. A pretty decent Schwarzbier.
