Served as the seasonal offering at the Las Vegas brewpub. Golden with a light colored head as per the style. Not a lot of flavor to be found. There was just a bit of malt, a bit of hop, and the tiniest bit of honey. A light summer beer that does not have very much to offer.

Pours clear gold with white head. The aroma is mostly grains with a bit of floral hops and acidity. The taste is fresh and crisp with grains and mild malt sweetness fighting off a carbonation enhanced rush of lemon acidity. A nice balance is achieved and persists into the finish with the grains fading leaving malt sweetness, lemon like acidity and a thin layer of floral hops.

This poured a clear lighter yellow with a white head. Aroma of sweet and grassy malts and some fruit hints as well. Flavor was very refreshing but watery, notes of fruitiness and some bittering, with an abrupt dry finish.

Fresh bottle, labeled as SommerBrau. Pours crystal clear and medium gold in color. A rocky, frothy head of off-white foam sticks around for a good while, leaving a healthy amount of sticky, broken sheet lacing on the glass. The nose is comprised primarily of honey kissed dry grain and mild floral hop bitterness, light and crisp but also somewhat skunky for a fresh beer. Flavors are the same, dry cereal grains leading the way with a very mild sweetness, while grassy hops counter. The body is light to the point of being watery, easy to drink but entirely uninspiring. Eh, it’s a drinkable brew, but nothing beyond that.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a dark gold color w/ a decent white head. Not much to it. Light to medium bodied. It’s greatest feature is that it is easy to drink. Really doesn’t taste like much of anything. Slightly metallic, both nominally hoppy and nominally malty. Nothing special.
