| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 27, 2007 (Tap) Pours a golden color with a fizzy white head. Aroma of wet grain and light citrus/grass. Taste is bready, with a smooth malty mouthfeel. Dry ending, with a decent mouthfeel (especially for the style). Overall it’s OK, but nothing too exciting. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 21, 2007 This kolsch pours a typical clear yellowish gold. Aroma is hoppy and not strong. Flavor is fairly hoppy, pleasing although not complex - a typical summertime brew, light and refreshing, with just a touch of fruity sweetness. Finish has more sweet in it than the initial taste. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 19, 2007 Draft at the new Rockville, MD location, in a tall fluted pils glass. Nose was actually pretty disgusting, smelling like egg salad, DMS, a hint of urine (literally) and fluffed, slightly fruity egg whites. Flavor thankfully isn’t as bad, but isn’t stellar either. Lightly crisp, mostly fizzy, simple sweet grain flavor with a sour (slight) egg presence. This one needs work, and a lot of it. rayg1 (438), Ft. Mill, South Carolina, USA

Served to me a clear yelllow with a small white head. Aroma has a nice light sweetness to it and a slight fruity puch. Nice wheat smell in there as well. Taste is alot of the same but I did notice that it became better as the beer went on and warmed up not a bad beer. Immy (1911), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA

Nose is light malt sweetness with a mild grain and some light honey notes. Flavor is much the same, very light flavored and bodied. A mild grass is noted in the finish. OK. Great clarity and persistent creamy head. Took a growler home.
