Banana certainly comes to mind in the aroma and a bit of dulled citrus. Nice banana, subdued fruit, and caramel malt flavor. This beer is creamy, light,and a pretty clean finish. Certainly the stronger ABV is well hidden. It pours a cloudy deep chestnut brown body with a substantially sized tan head. Lots of lace. The aroma has scents of aging bananas, a chocolatey malt, soft wheat, a hint of clove, and rust. Fluffy mouthfeel. The malt is caramelly in the flavor, the bananas get even older, a mild nutty bitterness enters the picture, and the spices are muted. Sweet fruity finish. Not too shabby.

Pours cloudy brown with a creamy tan head that fades relatively quick. Aroma of bananna, caramel, clove, and a bit of the alcohol and some spice. Flavor is all of the above. Nice bannana and clove, mixed with chocolate and caramel and a spicy dry finish. Palate is smooth, very drinkable and a real warmer. Good head, more on the spicy side (e.g., all-spice or licorice) with hints of weiss and banana. Interesting- a bit like the Weinhestephaner Korbinian I had a couple of weeks ago.
