Light colour, mild carbonation and white head... the start of an average beer. Lets hope it gets better. Nose: Spicy, and malty, surprising for the appearance. The taste, malty and sugary with notes of grain.. Palate, honey, or something similar.. sweet but balanced well with hops.
Damn nice beer for the price.

May 19, 2007 Can. I could try this one in Budapest, nice beer with a dark yellow color and fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet and barley, the same to the flavor. Loe bitterness.

Apr 27, 2007 Aroma was tar. Pour was golden with a creamy head. Taste was a delicious honey, molasses, and barley. Perhaps too much barley and not enough hops, but great for the genre.

Apr 25, 2007 There’s nothing wrong with this beer, but it is rather boring. If they had used more hops, it could have been a better beer than the rather bland product this is. But this is a fairly typical Austrian beer - they go for very subtle flavours.

Apr 13, 2007 Pale gold pour. No head. Grainy, grassy scent. Watery with some bitterness. Not bad but not good. If it’s truely Austria’s finest beer, I feel sorry for Austria.

Apr 11, 2007 Updated: Apr 12, 2007The aroma is very grassy with sweet barley malt. The appearance is pale gold with a two finger white foamy head. The flavor is just like the aroma. The palate is thin. There is definitely some quality brewing here (no skunk, corn, etc.). This beer could set the standard on central European lager style beer. It’s just not my favorite style.

Mar 25, 2007 Bottle from Party Source, KY. Poured clear golden color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate grassy aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Light bitter flavor with a light sweet finish of short duration. My expectations where met.

Mar 18, 2007 Its definitely the best of cheap beers sold in Slovenia. It is far better than our national beers, Union and Laško, which are the most popular here. Pretty good beer anyway!
