(50 cl can from Systembolaget) Pale golden color, white head. Sweet, grainy and acidic scent. Also light fruity and some faint hops. Thin malty sweet taste, sweet aftertaste. Thin mouthfeel, yet a bit smooth and dry. Medium to low bitterness.

Sampled in Switzerland. Aroma and appearance were not good and color was very pale. Drank very nicely though and went down smooth. Flavor was not great and was a little hard on after taste.

can: Really uneventful lager. Sort of has some malts going for it (this is a dortmunder), but not enough (like Svytury’s or Headstrong for instance). Has a bit of bite, but nothing special. The malts give some legs that makes it distinguishable from macro brew crap. Drink it cold b/c it’s FLAT when it warms. Do yourself a favour, pick up a Kozel or Charle’s Well’s Lager. In the Great Big World of Beer, this is not worth your time. In the Great Big World of Lager, it still isn’t worth your time. But if somebody offers you a free cold one, it’ll do the job (as opposed to a smoke beer, which just sucks).

This "light beer" did not "tickle my palate", it made it go to sleep. Gosser Export is a boring lager that tastes like every other boring beer on the LCBO shelves. Next!

This beer does have a somewhat funky aroma as it gets warm but nothing worth crucifying it for. Clear yellow carbonated body with a bright white, quickly dissipating head and some lace. Flavor is not particularly interesting: Dampened hops, corn, vegetables and sulfuric acid. Tonic water consistency.

Clean, crisp and watery. Nothing but a beer flavored beer. No more no less.

12 oz bottle poured into pint glass. Nothing special about it. Bland. But its from Austria, and that’s the only good thing about it.

5th Richmond Gathering. The evening had a clear low point, and this was it. Straight from my notes here: Horrifyingly bad corn aroma. Pale gold, little head. Eye watering cereal. $%^*! that is bad. Tears. Having said that, the most shocking thing is that this was clearly not a bad bottle. I honestly think this is what they intentionally brewed. Their dunkel is actually rather good. How this abortion of a brew came out, I’ll never understand.
