Ordinary scent, fizzy and pungent. Light taste with a determined bitter. Not much persistent one but in the sufficient complex. caledonian (367), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 25, 2005 Canned. Pale yellow, smallish head. Lively mouthfeel. Bitter tip-of-the-tongue finish. Kind of divided on this one, the flavor and aroma are there, but it’s like watered down such that they’re hardly noticeable. Still, slightly better than most imported euro-lagers. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 25, 2004 Gold color with decent lacing. Clean, lightly hopped nose balanced by subtle maltiness. Pleasant, easy drinking flavor. "Cookie-like or bready maltiness should be very much in evidence in a traditional example" (Very subtle at best). Smooth, nicely balanced, drinkable. Not exciting, but dare I say solid and even underrated when drinking a good sample. Perhaps a little too "grainy" in flavor. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA

Carbonated..Grainy...Pretty Tasteless and Hence Smooth and Easy to Drink. Good Get Drunk Beer. GonZoBeeR (2161), ste-Eulalie, Quebec, Canada

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 19, 2004 Bottle. Yellow with thin, white head. Quite bland with no distinct odors, nor distinct taste. Malts and hops apparent, but this is what you call a very average beer. Nothing bad, but nothing outstanding. Do you call this forgettable? After writing all the above I got down to the last swig and noticed a bit of a bitter aftertaste. So maybe I will remember it after all...at least well enough to avoid in the future. winkle (453), Brisbane, Australia
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 8, 2004 Bottled: Pours a typical goldish colour with minimal head. No skunk surprisingly but aroma 3was largley of stale hops - saaz probably? Flavour was mild , slightly malty with a bit more IBUs than expected. Not fantastic but OK cold. beerguy101 (3885), Newark, California, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 3, 2004 Light orange gold color. Small to no head. Aroma is kind of nasty, pencil shaving and cardboard. A light to medium bodied dort/helles style lager. Malts are mild and fruity with a touch of corn. Hops are very mild and slightly crisp. Except for the awful aroma, this beer is a typical euro-lager; bland, mild and skunky. The flavor is much better than the nose. Crisp and light, but so are 1000s of other beers of this type. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
