Sweet amlty aroma with some mustiness and hop present. Musty flavour also, with a very dry, roast malt, bitter finish. A bit average really. Emil (6074), Copenhagen, Denmark

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 24, 2005 (Bottled) Very dark reddish brown color with a medium, foamy and tanned head. Chocolatey, burned-malty aroma with caramel. Roasted-malty flavor with some fruitiness, ashy finish, and a lingering, mildly syrupy-sweet aftertaste. Medium-bodied, quite thick and smooth-carbonated palate. A reasonably interesting, drinkable and well-balanced dunkel. Ronny (92), Arlöv, Sweden

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 20, 2005 Dunkel Lite, perhaps? Nonetheless, this is a solid yet subtle example of the Dunkel style. Very drinkable- slight molasses in the finish with a light carbonated mouthfeel throughout. A good session Dunkel, if there ever was one. Recommended. heemer77 (4311), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Feb 15, 2005 Thin slightly yellowish head. Very dark brown nody with a deep red when held up to the light. The aroma is typical for the style with some bubblegum and corn. Also hints of roasted nuts. The mouthfeel is medium and slick. this has some roasted notes along with pears. There are definitely cherries in the aftertaste. A little too sweet. A very solid dunkel. jde123 (715), Washington, Washington DC, USA
