Finishes with just a little charred bitterness. Nice deep mouthfeel. Impressive. bfgill (120), Tasmania, Australia

Looks like coke, little head(my homebrew is better!). Quite rich - with sweet coffee + caramel. A dry finish. cheers ogivlado (3088), Zagreb, Croatia

Not use to my European beers being twist tops, anyway. Light malty caramel smell. Pours out a beautiful thick brown body with a lacy but fluffy head. Almost by the look and smell of it, besides the head, it could pass as Coke! I REALLY like the flavour. Rich sweet caramel body, with a lingering coffee type of hint. Not alot to it, but what's there makes it a very easy and nice drop. GreatStelle (360), Chico, California, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 24, 2003 Dark brown color. A little caramel flavor. Really it's boring. Thier nothing to complain about, but thier nothing to cheer about. Just average malt and hop flavors. Boring kwoeltje (1322), Manchester, Missouri, USA

Rich malt aroma. Smooth, sweet malt flavor. I first had this over 20 years ago in Austria--it's as good as I remember it being. hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 29, 2003 Funny, the bottle said "Best before end: October, 2001". This low ABV brew must get better with age then because It was fine and very tasty. It poured a medium sized head offine to medium sized mostly lasting bubles that left behind a semi transparent dark brown colored carbonated body. It had a strong caramel mollasses malt aroma and a lightly bubbly mouthfeel that was smooth throughout except after it warmed a bit when a slight acidic note was added. I added this after after reading the other comments, it must loose some of the carbonation with time as noted in the other reviews. I wonder what this brew tastes like when it is fresher? It is very good as it is.
