Jul 27, 2008 Bottle. Poured dark brown with medium obb white head. Aroma of malt and a little hop. Sweet malt flavour, but not over-sweet., with caramel notes. Carmel and a little cocoa in the finish.

Jul 17, 2008 Had at Gurtel Brau in vienna on 7/1. Pours dark aramel colore with a smallish white head. Aroma of dark fruits, caramel, and cocoa. Flavor is sweet, but not sickly sweet. Very drinkable, if unexciting, beer.

Jul 16, 2008 Bottle in Split, Croatia. Clear dark red/brown - offwhite head. High ryebread, sweetness, raisins, brown sugar, caramel, very nice and drinkable.

Jul 12, 2008 Updated: Aug 7, 2008It looks like a Coke or a Pepsi or an RC or a Big K Discount Cola. My notes indicate that it smells dark. I’m not 100% sure I know what I was talking about there. Flavor has hints of rye and fruit, and a winey finish.

Appearance: Neat light brown with deep ruby hue, medium tanned top.
Nose: Fruity malted front with gentle barley roast. Hint of cocoa with chocolate raisin dipped.
Flavor/Palate : Light but not empty. Smooth gentle guide with solid quality. Light roast , bitter coco feel at back. All flavours together harmoniously created a solid dunkel.

May 21, 2008 Bottle. Pours a deep orange-hued ruby with roamy beige head. The aroma is grainy with some mild caramel and chocolate sweetness and a slight herbal hint. Flavor starts with a short spicy burst, followed by some toast and bark tones. There is then a mellow caramel malt sweetness which dulls into a soft, earthy finish. Not bad.

May 17, 2008 Biggish yellowish beige shiny lasting head. Deep red-brown body. Earthy malty licorice aroma manages to smell both sweet and dry with metallic notes. Sweetish salty licorice and malts taste with chocolatey notes with some driness. Soft mild mouthfeel. Dry gingery licorice aftertaste with earthy notes. Very nice. (0.3l draft at Gablerbräu, Salzburg, under the name "Gösser Schwarzbier".)

Appearance: Coca- cola like, carbonation is medium, head is regular, creamy, cappuccino like in colour.
Aroma: wattery feaces, shitty, almost non existant, aroma of burned rice.
Flavour: Very wattery, some hints of burned, toasted malts and a trace of roastyness.
Palate: very mild, wattery.
