Resiny old apple sweetness, more calvados than cider, blackberry tartness, mineral dry finish. Tons of mouthfilling little bubbles. Nose of caramel and malt. Flavour of oranges, malt and caramel. Ends up more dry and slightly bitter. Mediom bodied. Pours a rich, deep caramel brown with a foamy off-white tan head that settles quickly but still provides lacing on the glass. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of nuts, spice, and ripe fruit. Flavor is also sweet and malty with notes of molasses, spice, caramel, spice, and just a hint of coffee close to finish. Generally medium bodied with a slightly sweet lingering finish.
