Oct 12, 2008 Bottle from Phil_l, via Beer Merchants. Thanks Phil! Warm russet, lots of clingy thick white head, and impossibly thick lace coating the glass. Salty seaweed aroma, cedar, dry apples, cinnamon. Resiny old apple sweetness, more calvados than cider, blackberry tartness, mineral dry finish. Tons of mouthfilling little bubbles. (Brings to mind that Scrubbing Bubbles advert.)

Oct 5, 2008 Pours a 5+ (and this is very slowly) finger off-white head that fades slowly leaving some lace. Cloudy amber color. Good carbonation and light bodied. Sweet caramel nose. Flavor is light caramel and raisins. Higher ABV is hidden. $4.25 for a 330ml bottle from Gillingham’s Woodstock, VT.

Sep 14, 2008 Bottled. Pours bautiful amber with a medium sized off-white head. Good lacing. Nose of caramel and malt. Flavour of oranges, malt and caramel. Ends up more dry and slightly bitter. Mediom bodied. Nice.

Sep 8, 2008 75cl bottle from Downtown Produce (Melbourne, FL). Pours a rich, deep caramel brown with a foamy off-white tan head that settles quickly but still provides lacing on the glass. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of nuts, spice, and ripe fruit. Flavor is also sweet and malty with notes of molasses, spice, caramel, spice, and just a hint of coffee close to finish. Generally medium bodied with a slightly sweet lingering finish.
