Aug 8, 2008 Deep dark red with a microbubbly head that lasts and leaves a very appealing lacing. Roasted malts, mixed with chives and an earthy touch in the nose. Malty warm caramel and butter toffee taste wars a bit with alcoholic bite. Clean finish. The booziness is unbalancing, rather nice none the less. I prefered it to the Carolus Tripple which supprised me.

Aug 8, 2008 Bottle. poured dark reddish brown with a fluffy beige head. Very fruity aroma with notes of yeast, candy, caramel and malts. Flavour is dark fruits, berries, dark brown sugar and caramel. Great mouthfeel.

Jul 27, 2008 There is a dark fruit flavor and aroma to this beer. It also seems to take on characteristics of an alcohol-laden Butterfinger candy bar.
