Mar 28, 2008 Pours an opaque red-brown with a yellow head. Awesome aroma of granny smith apples! Flavor is caramel and tart apple with an earthy finish. Noticeable alcohol but not overly harsh. Surprisingly good.

Mar 28, 2008 Deep mahagony colour, tanned head that dissolves quickly. Nice malty aroma of coffee, caramel and dark fruits.Rich and slighty sweet flavour, with a dry and bitter finish. A great strong ale.

Mar 26, 2008 750ml bottle-Pours a deep red mahogany with a nice two finger off white head. It has an aroma of belgian yeast, malts, caramel, sweetness, and a faint tartness. Taste is of malt and yeast along with caramel and raisins on this full bodied brew. Very smooth overall a nice tasting Belgian.

Mar 26, 2008 Deep red mahogani with a high, dense head. The aroma is hard to define but is sweet and malty. Sweet flavours too with a bit of contrast from the sweetnes. There are traces from raisins and plumes along with other fruits and some alcohol.

Mar 21, 2008 Pours dark amber with fairly thick off-white head. Nice sweet aroma with plenty of banana, dark fruit, toffee, and spicy notes. Flavor is lighter than expected; I figured that I’d be blown away based on the aroma, but I’m tasting a really well balanced beer. Sweet but not too sweet, with notes of dried fruit, caramel, yeast, and vinous notes. Nice smooth body. Very nice beer.

Mar 12, 2008 (33 cl bottle at 3 Smår Rum, Göteborg) On March 12, 2008. BB 2010. Clear dark reddish brown color, medium size tan head. Sweet, phenolic, fruity and alcohol scent. Also medicinal and spicy. Spicy, yeasty sweet taste with a surpisingly light aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness. Alcohol in the taste is rather well hidden. Some metallic hints in taste and aftertaste.
