Bottle, 33cl. Pours deep brown, with a tan head that dissipates with decent lacing. Sweet dark fruits and caramel on the nose, with similar on the palate with malt notes, and all very well balanced. A good Belgian ale.

very nice head with good lacing, body is dark amber/brown/ruby, clear, aroma is caramelly malts, spices and a good deal of alc and yeast, then come biscuits, orange peel and liqueur, At the first sip it is smooth sweet, but afterwards there comes bitter/sour taste fighting against caramelly/syrupy notes, there is also strong numbness like after eating orange peel or just pepper, conclusion great, mature brew from land of strong beer, a bit too sweet but kicks in the head

Bottle 330ml. Mind-blowing. Aroma has biscuits, chocolate, port, and dark fruit. Flavour starts sweet, to explode in a combination of bitter-sweet notes that last long. Full-bodied, nice mouthfeel, and some alcohol in the finish. Dark brown in colour with a long-lasting but thin head.

Confronts your nose with aromas of wood, chocolate and malt. Taste is a plethora of greatness. Caramel, toffee, malt, all play with your mouth. Strong alcohol taste that bites and leaves a strong aftertaste. Very nice beer that you can sit, relax and enjoy.

Pours dark amber brown with a nice tan head. Aroma is dark fruits, including prune and raisin, with candi sugar and caramel coming through as well. Flavor is semisweet with molasses, caramel, toffee and dark fruits coming through with hints of chocolate. Pretty good.

Bottle: malty, some prunes, brown suger notes, cinnamon, mild coffee and chocolate, some nutty notes, light bitterness, the flavor is not strong enough, a little watery, pretty good.

Very dark brown colour, Beige head, low retention. Nice bready, malty aroma, notes of cinimon, sweet and malty. Creamy dark fruit flavours. Slightly arcoholic, really nice I could make this my Standard Belgian.
