Reminded me I’m a puny mortal facing the gods of destruction. I fought hard against the delicious esters of the yeast but was ultimately overcome by the sweet malts. This is seriously delicious, kids. Don’t try this at your friend’s house. taunusmies (276), Finland

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 6, 2007 Nothing like expected. Nose is juicily estery, with overripe banana, plum, maybe strawberry, and a clove/cinnamon spiciness (salivating). Heading towards my top 100 and I’ve not even tasted it yet. Aromatically heady and fruity, but not overpowering. Raisins, white pepper, caramel, more banana. Bubblegum and dandelion and Burdock rootiness in the snout and beyond. Swill and inhale. How can the mouth match that?? It can’t, but it tries with more cinnamon, heady fruit and Dunkelish plums. A banana, brown sugar and cinnamon snadwich of a beer. Slips down wickedly with a delicate dusting of spice. Clear red with a billowing beige head. uhre (339), Denmark
