| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | May 22, 2006 Great beer! Poures a dark brown beer with a biege head. Aromas of fruits, raisins, woody, rum and spices. Flavours are of sweet rum, raisin, lighter(berries) and darker fruits(plums), chocolate, sweet and a bit bitter. Heavy body, chewy beer, which reminded me of the high-gravity trappist beers. Excellent and complex!!! yngwie (4910), Kristiansand, Norway
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 14, 2006 Bottled, 33cl. Reddish-brown beer, with a beige head and some floaties. It has a rich aroma of toffee, fruits and beef-stock. Some yeastiness too. A nice candi-sweetness in the flavor is followed by hops, spices and some alcohol. It has a light sourness in the finish, and an almost full body. A nice beer, that worked well with sausages and mustard. (060428) gunnfryd (3568), Kristiansand, Norway
