Strong sweet taste. A little stale in the aftertaste. Wonderfully strong sweet Belgian Ale that had more in common with a recent Fuller’s Vintage than the classic strong Belgian Ale taste in my opinion. Just a little staleness kept it from achieving greatness. mabel (2612), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Aroma is malted and yeasty, reminds me of sweet beef OXO boullion cubes. Cloudy, brown body with a fair-lasting creamy light brown head and nice lacing on the glass. Some raisin and figgy fruity flavour characteristics along with light celery, hops, and some chewy toffee in this OXO beefed-up beer, and the alcohol is obvious. Medium-full body. Seems exotic, would have preferred a smaller sample. Pailhead (2593), Allen Park, Michigan, USA
