Some starting berry aromas fade to persistent banana notes. Some candy flavors but herbal and carmel flavors are more dominant in it’s medium-low effervescent body. It finishes with some soft alcohol spice. Very nice.

Bottled: Medium sized offwhite head, retention is good with a fair amount of lasting lace. Fairly clear amber/dark copper hued brew. Nose is lightly fruity, raisins, plum and caramelly with maybe some chocolate notes as well. Body is med/full with a nice carbonation level, lightly oily. Dark fruity flavors, raisin, grape, lightly sweet malts with some yeastiness happening, lightly earthy. Nice fruity finish with a hint of melon. Boutelle ka piwa- Bottle at Chaucer’s. Poured a deep chestnut topped with a frothy, long lived mocha froth. Roasty, coffee, toasty nose with an interesting integration of dark fruit and banana and a touch of spice. Sweet, dark fruit up front, with toffee, roasty flavours and bananas with moderate spicing. Creamy and drinkable as hell. I went to Chaucer’s and ordered what they had....boy am I glad I did.

Rubin-red to brown colour, with an average off white head. Sweet malty aroma, some yeasty touches, chocolate, little alcoholic. Full body, very nice palate. Finish is little bitter, ending somewhat chocolate- sweeter with some light alcoholic touches. Well balanced, very nice beer.
