330ml. bottle. Dark brown with red highlights and a thick tan head. Aroma of sweet caramel, dark dried fruits and black licorice. The licorice really comes out in the flavor. Unfortunately, I am not a fan of anise flavored drinks. Bitter dark chocolate, molasses, dried fruits and some sweet spices round out the flavors.

Had this a zillion times. Love this brewery. This has the ,uh oh, "classic" nose that a good BSA is supposed to have. Lots of exotic spices and very ripe fruit. A good Tripel or BSA always seems to have the same flavors. Very ripe bananas and coriander or someting. Very Good beer

A dark beer of 8,5 %. Very malty aroma with a lot of caramel and banana. A beer with a complex taste. The flavor sticks in your mouth. The head is medium creamy.

excellent stew of roast, dark chocolate, prunes, caramel, fat sweet malt, coriander, astringent spice. some hot alcohol. should cellar magnificently, at the moment it’s a bit raw and scattered.

Pours a deep, cloudy brown with a thick, fluffy off-white head. Rich, malty nose. Strong malt flavor, lightly toasted. Nice alcohol warmth. Very, very nice.
