Taste is sweet and malty. Creamy mouthfeel and mild carbonation make this real easy to drink. One of my favorite beers from what is becoming one of my favorite Belgian breweries. The more I drink their beers the more I love them. beerledgend (919), Waterloo, Wellington, New Zealand

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 24, 2004 Bottle pours a slightly hazy garnet color with a decent beige head and very good lace. The aroma is malty, yeasty, raisin, and spicy. The flavor starts sweet, has a dried fruit ditty, a yeast accent, a slight hop blip, and quite nice. The palate is Belgain Strong Ale rich and cleansing. Overall, very nice. It is on my shopping list. Thanks Ryan at Cellars! Crockett (904), Steelback County, Ontario, Canada
