Interesting aroma, very belgian, yeasty, raisins, hops, malt, plums, vanilla and fruits. Taste is very filling, a bit yeasty but balanced out with malt, maybe some fruits balanced out with the bitterness of chocolate or something like that, incredible body and oh so nice on the tongue, world class brew guzzler67 (1283), Hanover, Maryland, USA

Multi layered aroma of yeast, dark fruits, chocolate and caramel malts. Sweet, yeasty flavors with a variety of fruits, some spicyness and a passive amount of hops. Well concealed alcohol in the full bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Medium length finish remained sweet but not cloying. MaiBockAddict (1499), Good Beer Bar Deprived, New Jersey, USA

| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jul 24, 2004 Deep red/brown color, creamy tan head. Aroma of malt, some plum, raisin, yeast. Great malt prescence, some light yeast, plum, vanilla, fairly sweet, bit of caramel and cherry. Comes across as rich and soft, no alcohol detected. The palate really allowed the flavors to gel in such a nice way. High quality stuff. The more I have from this brewery the more I like it. bu11zeye (5550), Frisco, Texas, USA
