deep brown red color, firm head. Interesting aroma, very belgian, yeasty, raisins, hops, malt, plums, vanilla and fruits. Taste is very filling, a bit yeasty but balanced out with malt, maybe some fruits balanced out with the bitterness of chocolate or something like that, incredible body and oh so nice on the tongue, world class brew

Mahogany appearance with a large, firm, tan head and very good lacing. Multi layered aroma of yeast, dark fruits, chocolate and caramel malts. Sweet, yeasty flavors with a variety of fruits, some spicyness and a passive amount of hops. Well concealed alcohol in the full bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel. Medium length finish remained sweet but not cloying.

Pours a clear brown with a lucious tan head and a glass coating lacing. Raisiny fruity aroma and on the sweet end of the spectrum. Smooth creamy malty flavor with fruity sweet overtones. This is a great dessert beer and very well made.

hmmm this is a beaut. This beer has a great sweet aroma, chocalately/caramel flavour with a bit of spice. This beer gives a great sense of warmth. This is truly a unique and impressive beer. re-rate - Still stands the test of time, the banana nose and balance are great and it holds the 8.5% like a champion.

Deep red/brown color, creamy tan head. Aroma of malt, some plum, raisin, yeast. Great malt prescence, some light yeast, plum, vanilla, fairly sweet, bit of caramel and cherry. Comes across as rich and soft, no alcohol detected. The palate really allowed the flavors to gel in such a nice way. High quality stuff. The more I have from this brewery the more I like it.

(750 ml) Pours a copper color with a cloudy body and a medium-sized, creamy, off-white head. Has a complex aroma of molasses, caramel, grain, mustiness, banana, and vanilla. Creamy palate. Has flavors of banana, caramel, and cream. Delicious!

Rum and raisin thick sweet aroma. Spicy tang balancing the thick malts, coffee, rum and raisin. This is very good. May sneak off and grab some more.
