[Eyes] Dark brown color with a mostly discreet, small white head. [Nouse] The aroma is strong fruity with hints of banana, malt caramel, yeast, vanilla, and brown cuban sugar. [Mouth] Great Full body with nice and gentile carbonation, notes of flavors of sweet, strong fruits, sugar and yeast. The Afther taste is long and sweet with a touch of caramel and vanilla. An excellent beer.

Fantasztikus!

750ml bottle bought from Brewery Creek and poured into a Chimay chalice. Deep garnet in colour with a full, tight, cream head. Malty aroma with cherry, prune, and raisin. Moderately malty and sweet taste; smooth with slightly bitter finish. Moderate carbonation and medium body. Dark, smooth, complex, warming.

Bottle: pours dark brown color and has a head that retains. Nice aroma consisting of prunes and red wine. Very smooth and thick beer. Has a wonderful sweet flavor reminiscent of dry molasses and prune juice. The sweet flavor is balanced by hops that make it slightly bitter, but the sweet flavor wins out.

Pours a nice deep red with a 2 finger sized tan coloured head that clings to the glass. Aroma is slightly plummy with lots of soft fruit and anise and sweet licorice candy. Tastes fantastically complex! With sweet soft fruits, dark fruits plums, raisins, grapes, spices, licorice candy, molasses, apple, a nice semi bitter finish. Mouth feel is soft and extremely effervescent. Is it just me or do Belgians inherently know what they are doing? Really like this beer!

This is not just a good old belgian beer. Great colour and nice creamy taste along wih a balanced alcohol percentage. A real shotgun made for every fan of beer! Pleasant surprise when i first tasted it! Pretty expensive but worth it. One of the best strong belgian ale beers if not the best.
