I thought it was excellent. To me, it smelled like flowers and it tasted like honey. I am sincerely grateful to my brother for sharing a bottle with me. davidm (186), Melbourne, Australia

Flavour starts sweet, to explode in a combination of bitter-sweet notes that last long. Full-bodied, nice mouthfeel, and some alcohol in the finish. Dark brown in colour with a long-lasting but thin head. fishman (349), Philadelphia, USA

Was pleasantly surprised to find a nice copper colored brew with a fine lace of bubbles lining the glass. Slightly dry and mild with a hearty malty/alcohol taste. Wonderful, fruity taste that only improves as it warms. mmather (113), Colorado, USA

Like a great barleywine, and can be aged for years more.Gorgeous aroma, cherries. Sweet raisin, plum, light brown sugar dry mix. Complementary spices of clove and cinammon wit cherry. Can drink anytime for satisfaction. Medium mouthfeel, not overpowering. This is not the same as the Classic. Skeegle (499), Maryland, USA

Buckets and boxes of candied fruit and a few minor vinous notes to follow the pride. Pours a beautiful thick brown like apple cider. No yeast what so ever in this one, almost like an extremely toned down sour ale. I loved it, and at a mere five bucks a 1pt 9oz bottle, I’ll be picking this on up regularly, along with anything else I see from Het Ankler. I am so impressed with their beers I wondered how I haven’t had more--so many more--before. smith4498 (921), Miami, Florida, USA

Taste is sweet and malty. Creamy mouthfeel and mild carbonation make this real easy to drink. One of my favorite beers from what is becoming one of my favorite Belgian breweries. The more I drink their beers the more I love them.
