Intense and warming with flavors of dried fruits, plums, dates, figs, raisins, molasses, brown sugar, orange rind, and very prominent alcohol fumes that intensifies as it warms. Very sticky, almost cloying mouthfeel. To be sipped slowly and savored, except that slows down the process of ordering and enjoying a second one!

Pours a fairly thick brown body with a small head. Aroma is mostly dark fruits and yeast. Spices, banana and alcohol there as well. Flavor is the same, very smooth and enjoyable.

Aroma is very fruity, lightly vinous, alot of caramel and light notes of chocolate and alcohol. taste is dark fruit, rich caramel, spices, yeasty and bready. lightly spicy and a touch of alcohol in the finish. Really nice.

Pretty bottle, 750 mL. Sweet malty aroma with distinctive Belgian yeast, candis, dark fruit. Raisins and light alcohol. Clear red body with a creamy, lacing, tanned head. Rich, sweetly fruity taste - berry, figs, brown sugar, a touch of sourish acidity. Strong cherry and light vanilla. Complementary alcohol. Lightish-medium body is smooth and silken. Dries out very quickly. Lightly warming. Subtle, elegant, and if not extremely complex, extremely enjoyable. One of the cases where a thick body is unnecessary - this svelte little darling is much easier to drink! Lovely.

Got a cold so my usual rubbish sense of smell is ecen worse. Shame as this is really nice. Delicous. Slight alcohol flavour present but very sweet and lovely. Like Fearne Cotton. Just like the beer though, an obvious dark side. 8 4 8 4 16

Dark caramel/amber pour with a decent, foamy yellowish head. Aroma of wine, caramel, and toffee, a little sour. Initial taste of apples with a smooth caramel body and a slightly sweet wine/alcohol finish. Very delicious and ultra sweet with no attempt at balance, but why bother
